1. Preliminary Screening:

Interested candidates have to login to this website (police.teletalk.com.bd) and fill the application form. If the candidate gives false or incomplete information the application will be rejected at any stage of recruitment. After the verification of the application form, the applicant will be notified on his mobile phone that he has been selected for the next step.

2. Physical Size and Physical Endurance Test:

In this phase, candidate eligibility will be verified for a total of three days. Candidate's height, weight and chest size and documents will be verified after entering the venue on the first day. Candidates then have to participate in seven events over two days. The second day will have four events 200m race, push up, long jump and high jump. On the third day there will be three events 1600m race, dragging and rope climbing.

In the first event of the second day, the male candidate has to run 200 meters in 28 seconds and the female candidate has to run 200 meters in 34 seconds. In the second event, the male candidate has to do 15 push-ups in 35 seconds and the female candidate 10 times in 30 seconds. Male candidates have to perform long jump at a height of 10 feet and female candidates at a height of 6 feet. 3.5 feet high jump for male candidates and 2.5 feet high jump for female candidates.

On the third day of physical fitness test, male candidates have to run 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds and female candidates have to run 1000 meters in 6 minutes. In the dragging event, the male candidate has to pull a tire weighing 150 pounds for a distance of 30 feet and the female candidate has to pull a tire weighing 110 pounds for a distance of 20 feet. The seventh event is rope climbing. In this event, the male candidate has to climb the rope 12 feet and the female candidate has to climb 8 feet. On passing this event the candidate will be declared finalist in Physical Endurance Test.

3. Written Test:

Candidates who pass the Physical Measurement and Physical Endurance test will have to attend the written test. There will be a written test of total 45 marks on Bengali, English, General Mathematics and General Science.

4. Psychological and Verbal Examination:

Candidates who qualify the written test will have to attend the psychological and oral test of 15 marks.

5. Primary Selection:

Candidates will be initially selected in order of merit based on vacancies and quota system of each district and on the basis of marks obtained in written, psychological and oral tests.

6. Police Verification and Health Check:

Preliminarily selected candidates will undergo health examination in respective districts. Candidates have to fill the police verification form after passing the health test. Candidates will be nominated for training if police verification is satisfactory. However, the candidate will be disqualified if the information is hidden or given false information in the verification.

7. Ultimately training includes:

Candidates selected for training after joining the training center will re-verify their physical fitness along with other information by a re-selection committee consisting of representatives of Police Headquarters. After verifying these data, the candidate will be finally included in the training. Basic training should be done for six months at the designated training center. After successful completion of training will be appointed as constable.
