Islamic Quotes About Success

The success of the world is never real or permanent success. So you should think about the success of the Hereafter, only if you follow the ideal path given by Allah's Messenger, you can be successful in the Hereafter. May Allah grant us taufiq to understand. Remember that if you are successful in the world, it will serve you as long as you live. It means you can live happily and peacefully. But it does not mean that if you are successful in this world, you will be unemployed in the hereafter. You have to follow the ideal path shown by Allah and Rasul then you can be successful in this world and hereafter. Do something so that you can gain the satisfaction of Allah's Messenger and you can live happily and peacefully in this world, then you can be successful. May Allah grant us all Tawfiq to understand, Ameen

Who created death and life that He may test you as to which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. (Surah Mulk, verse-2)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He is a good worker, who abstains most from the forbidden things of Allah Ta'ala and is ever eager to obey Allah Ta'ala. (Qurtubi)

Allah says - The most honorable among you in the sight of Allah is the most pious among you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Surah Huzrat verse-13)

The worldly life is nothing but a joke, the abode of the Hereafter is better for the pious.
Surah Al-An'am 26

Every person will get the result of his work which he has destined.
Hazrat Muhammad SAW:

Whoever has strong faith in Allah, Allah does not leave any of his wishes unfulfilled.
Hazrat Omar

The world is not for the attainment of the world.
Dated Umar

In the Holy Qur'an Allah has declared the criteria of success in human life - He Who created death and life that He may test you as to who among you is best in deeds. And He is the Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. (Surah Mulk, verse-2)

Referring to the purpose of creating human life, Allah says that the person who does righteous deeds is the best.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, describing good deeds: He is a good worker, who avoids most of the forbidden things of Allah and is always eager to obey Allah. (Qurtubi)

But for some of us, acquiring a large amount of wealth is called success. And for many to own a large amount of wealth. Or success is the name of gaining great fame. It is said that the world is the grain of the Hereafter.

The life of the believer in the world and the hereafter is hindered by the same formula. Therefore, none of these can be the measure of the success of the believer in this life and the hereafter.

Allah declares in the Holy Qur'an - Surely the believers are successful, who are humble in their prayer. And those who are averse to vain talk. And those who are active in Zakat.

And those who guard their own shame. But except for their wives and their right hands, they will not be condemned. Then those who desire other than these are transgressors. And those who are careful with their deposits and pledges. And those who guard their prayers. They will be heirs. Those who will possess Firdaus. They will remain there. (Surat al-Mu'minun, verses 1-11)

Achieving the fear of Allah is one of the criteria for achieving success in life. Allah says - The most honorable among you in the sight of Allah is the most pious among you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Surah Huzrat verse-13)

A person who fears Allah is honored in both this world and the hereafter. Everyone trusts and loves him. Elsewhere Allah says - He who fears Allah, He prepares a path for him. And He will provide him with sustenance from sources he cannot imagine. And whoever trusts in Allah, Allah is sufficient for him. (Surah Talaq, verses 2-3)

Also, many ways of success in life have been described by Allah Rabbul Alamin in the Holy Qur'an. One way of this is that he who does not miserly is successful: fear Allah, listen to Him, obey Him and spend as much as you can. It is good for you. Those who are free from the bondage of mind are the successful ones. (64 Surah Taghabun:16)

As our individual, family and social life is made beautiful by enjoining good deeds and forbidding evil deeds. In the same way success comes in life. Allah says, And there must be a party among you who call people to what is good and enjoin good deeds and forbid evil deeds, and they will be successful. (3 Surah Al-Imran:104)

Obedience to Allah and His Messenger is the ultimate path to our success in this world and the hereafter. Allah says - And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, fears Allah and follows His piety, those are the righteous. (Surah Noor, verse 52)

The life of the world is very temporary. In a hadith about the insignificance of the world, it is narrated from Jaber (R.A.), that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) once passed by a dead goat kid with its ear cut off and said, 'Who among you would like to take it for one dirham? They said, We would not like to exchange it for anything.

Then he said, By Allah! As bad as it is to you, it is worse to Allah than the world (and its wealth) (Muslim, Mishkat Ha/5157).

In our desire to achieve worldly things, let us not neglect the good deeds of the Hereafter. True success in our lives will come when we are able to attain eternal bliss.

Allah says - Every soul has to taste death. On the Day of Judgement, your deeds will be paid in full. He who is kept away from the fire and allowed to go to Paradise is the successful person. And worldly life is nothing but deceptive enjoyment. Al Qur'an (Surah Al-Imran: 185)
